Leveling the Field for Our Athletes: Match Day 2025
At Jackson Center Local Schools, athletics are more than games—they’re opportunities for students to learn teamwork, discipline, and perseverance. Our community takes great pride in supporting student-athletes who represent Jackson Center with determination and heart.
This year, the Jackson Center Athletic Booster Club is participating in the Community Foundation of Shelby County’s Match Day program, giving our supporters a unique opportunity to make a lasting impact. Every dollar donated on Match Day will be matched (up to the Foundation’s designated amount), doubling the power of each gift to improve our athletic facilities and enhance the experience for our student-athletes.
Our 2025 Match Day Project
Funds raised through Match Day will be used to upgrade the high school softball and baseball playing surfaces. Over time, the infields on both diamonds have eroded and become uneven, creating challenges for maintenance and player safety. Professional resurfacing will allow us to scrape, level, and restore the fields to the high-quality standard our athletes deserve.
These improvements will not only create safer and more reliable playing conditions but will also help maintain the fields for years to come—ensuring that every pitch, slide, and catch happens on a surface that reflects the pride and excellence of Jackson Center athletics.
