Morgan’s Place is excited to again be a participant in the Match Day Program and, being an all volunteer ministry, every dollar goes to the services we offer to the families we assist. Our mission is rooted in dignity, compassion, and faith.

2026 Match Day funds will be used in three areas. First of all, Morgan’s Place provides free burial services for babies lost through miscarriage or stillbirth. A plot, casket, grave marker, burial clothing created from donated wedding dresses, and a keepsake are included. In addition transportation of the baby to a funeral home and nutritious meals for the family are available.

Secondly, Morgan’s Place hosts monthly grief support meetings. These sessions cover a variety of issues related to the loss of a child and are open to the parents, grandparents, and siblings of the baby. Aftercare boxes consisting of comfort items and grief support resources are also supplied. One-on-one attention and other appropriate assistance help families feel less alone as they navigate through their loss.

Finally, Match Day dollars will augment our Memory Wall program. The Momory Wall at Morgan’s Place is designed to allow individuals to honor a child lost prior to the creation of our cemetery. This is accomplished by placing a plaque on the wall, possibly naming the lost one if not already named, and often with a brief service in the presence of family and clergy.
