2018-2019 Scholarship season has started!Scholarships 2018

Are you a high school or college student looking for financial assistance for your education? Thanks to our generous donors, the Community Foundation oversees more than 74 scholarship funds that provide over 230 scholarship opportunities to help talented and passionate students attain the dream of a college education.

The Community Foundation has one general on-line scholarship application.  This allows students to apply for multiple scholarships with just one application.  Once students complete the eligibility section of the application, the application will automatically filter which scholarships the student is eligible for. Students must then select which of those scholarships they want to apply for.

For a complete list of available scholarship opportunities and to create an account and begin an application, visit commfoun.com.  For more information, contact Jo DeMotte-Scholarship Administrator at 937-497-7800 or jdemotte@commfoun.com .

A scholarship fund at the Community Foundation of Shelby County can be established with a minimum gift of $5,000. Donors can create their funds in memory of a loved one, to support educational opportunities in general, or to fund awards for a specific educational institution or a course of study. For more information on establishing a scholarship fund, contact Jessica Fortkamp-Donor Relations Director at 937-497-7800 or jfortkamp@commfoun.com.
