Plan With Purpose: An Introduction to Periscope Path

Estate planning is about more than documents—it’s about making thoughtful decisions for the people, organizations, and causes that matter to you.

The Community Foundation of Shelby County and Shelby County United Way invite you to a special, invitation-only informational session with Paul Grassmann of Thompson & Associates to learn about Periscope Path, a confidential, values-based estate planning process available at no cost to participants.

Meet Paul Grassmann

Paul Grassmann works with individuals and families to help them think through some of the most important questions surrounding their estate and legacy. Through Thompson & Associates and its Periscope Path process, Paul serves as a guide—helping participants clarify their goals, organize their wishes, and develop a roadmap they can take to their own professional advisors to complete or update their estate plans.

What Is Periscope Path?

Periscope Path is a collaborative planning process designed to help you look at the complete picture of your estate—not simply the financial or legal pieces, but the people, values, priorities, and charitable interests that are important to you.

The process does not replace your attorney, accountant, financial advisor, or other trusted professionals. Instead, Paul helps you identify and organize your goals so you can work more effectively with your advisors to put an estate plan in place that reflects what matters most to you.

Best of all, there is no cost or obligation to participate in Periscope Path. The Community Foundation of Shelby County and United Way of Shelby County make this service available as a resource to individuals and families in our community.

Join Us for an Informational Session

This one-night informational session at the Community Foundation of Shelby County offices in Sidney is an opportunity to meet Paul, learn how Periscope Path works, ask questions, and determine whether the process might be right for you.

Attending the session does not obligate you to participate in Periscope Path. Our goal is simply to introduce you to a resource that can help make estate planning more thoughtful, organized, and approachable.

Can’t Attend? The Opportunity Continues.

While this informational session is offered for one night only, Periscope Path is an ongoing opportunity. If you are unable to attend—or if you decide later that you would like to explore the process—you can still schedule a time to begin.
