Shelby County Arc will use Match Day gifts to help support its year-round social and recreational programming for young children, teens and adults with developmental disabilities. Current programming includes a day camp and an overnight camp held each summer, monthly nights out for three different age groups, a bowling league, and a variety of family events held at area municipal pools, the skating rink and Lake Loramie. Programming gives individuals opportunities to try new things, increase independence, boost confidence and make new friends from all over Shelby County. It often provides respite for parents and caregivers as well.
