Since 1952, advisors have helped their clients create funds at the Community Foundation of Shelby County that provide a lasting benefit to the community. In our role as a neutral partner, we create innovative solutions that help advisors successfully accomplish their client’s charitable goals and maximize their charitable deduction

Bequest Language

When we receive a gift from an estate, often a Last Will and Testament or a pre-written Community Foundation fund agreement guides the way your client wishes to have their gift administered. We put your client’s gift to work to benefit the community or any aspect of it that they request. Click here for downloadable bequest language.

The Community Foundation of Shelby County has the ability to handle a range of gifting and granting options, while making it all easy and rewarding for your client.

We will create proposals customized to your client’s interests and will provide presentations to individuals, families, or groups that want to know more about giving to the community or anywhere in the U.S. through the Community Foundation of Shelby County.
